Benchmarks for your Survey:

  

  1. Your survey question must be a question of substance:  What is your favorite color? Is not a question of substance.  
  2. The format of your survey question must be unbiased.

   Tally sheet needs to be neat.  

Benchmarks for completed graph:

 

  1.  
  2. Include titles:  a title to describe your graph, a title for the x-axis and a title for the y-axis.  Each bar on a bar graph or histogram needs a title.  A pie graph should include titles for each slice.
  3. Graphs need to reflect the data that you collected.  In other words your graph should match your tally sheet.
  4. Include color.

  6. Answer the following questions:  What conclusions can you draw from your graph?  What predictions can be made using your graphed information?
