Grade 6D made a visual representation of a "Road to Democracy". We explored  the steps one follows to reach a state of democracy and what might some of the roadblocks to democracy might be.  Click on each image for an enlarged version.

The pictures below are from the Grade 6D project called "A Body of Leaders".

Students drew a large body and used symbols of strong leadership to dress their

 person, so for example, if listening was an important leadership trait, the "Body of

 Leadership" might have extra large ears. Students were required to fill out a

 "legend" explaining what each symbol on their person stood for. Here are a few

 examples of student work:
