OBSTACLES

Obstacle # 1

The first obstacle that Mr. Ness and his team had to overcome was actually at first getting the playground.  A generous man named Mr. Debney of CDC Recreation wanted to donate that first playground and has continued to be involved in getting each one since.

Obstacle # 2

The next obstacle that they had to overcome was getting a container to transport the playground to where ever it was going. This too worked out as a company called GSA (Ground, Sea, Air) has helped secure a container each year.

Obstacle #3

Mr. Ness needed a team of students and local adults for the job. Finding adult workers is especially important and every year those people have come into place just when they were needed.

Obstacle #4

The weather is always a big obstacle. If the weather is bad you can't fly an airplane or steer a ship and you have to check the weather for the day that you are planning to work. A stint of poor weather can delay a project so the workers always are happy when they see sunny skies!

Getting the playgrounds to another country is no small task!

These containers allow us to transport the playgrounds, safe and sound.
